The Hypersight case, in three numbers
Polymarket is the reference prediction market, and it earned that. The catalog is enormous: at any moment you can trade thousands of questions across politics, entertainment, sports, science and crypto, and headline markets carry liquidity that no competitor in the category matches. Since late 2025 it also operates a CFTC-regulated venue for US residents, which no crypto-native alternative offers.
If your goal is breadth, trading opinions on everything, in one place, with the deepest books, Polymarket is the default choice, and this page won't pretend otherwise.
Hypersight is not a standalone prediction-market site: it is a full self-custodial trading account on Hyperliquid where prediction markets sit next to perps and spot. The practical difference is one balance for everything: you can take a position on a match or a macro print, and hedge or lever the same conviction with a perp, without moving funds between platforms.
Custody works differently too. Signing in with an email code creates a wallet whose keys stay with you; Hypersight never holds funds and there is no account to freeze. And on fees, the model is deliberately simple: the Hypersight fee is 0% until October 31, 2026, and a flat 0.05% charged only when you sell afterwards. Polymarket runs category-based taker fees that reach ~1.75% on its crypto markets, though its world-events markets are free, which is a genuine advantage there.
One more thing traders notice late: Hyperliquid prunes resolved markets from its API. Hypersight runs its own indexer and keeps the full archive (resolved questions, odds history, volumes and trader win-rates), so your track record and the market's history don't evaporate at settlement.
Live HIP-4 prediction markets on Hyperliquid, no account needed to look.
For traders outside the US who want self-custody and a full trading account (perps, spot and predictions on one balance), yes. If you want the largest possible catalog and the deepest liquidity on world events, Polymarket remains the stronger pick; the honest answer is that they solve different problems.
No. Hypersight is not available to US persons. US residents looking for a regulated venue should use Polymarket US, which operates under CFTC oversight.
None until October 31, 2026: the Hypersight fee is currently 0%, so you pay Hyperliquid's protocol fee and nothing on top. After that it returns to a flat 0.05%, charged only when you sell. Buying, and holding a position to resolution, are free of the Hypersight fee either way. Hyperliquid's own exchange fee applies separately, as a venue fee does everywhere.
No. Signing in with an email one-time code creates a self-custodial wallet automatically, with no seed phrase to store. If you already have a wallet, you can connect it directly instead.
HIP-4 is Hyperliquid's native prediction-market standard: real-money markets that trade on the chain's on-chain order book, settle in USDC, and resolve on-chain. Hypersight is a frontend for these markets; the venue and settlement are Hyperliquid itself.
