Choose Myriad if…

  • You want to predict casually, inside the media you already read, without opening a trading screen at all.
  • You are new to prediction markets and want the shortest possible path from reading to a first position.
  • You want markets on culture, gaming and media alongside the usual crypto and sports.
  • You value the distribution: Myriad is built by Dastan, the company behind Decrypt, and its markets live where its audience already is.

Choose Hypersight if…

  • You want an order book: limit orders, real depth, and a price you set rather than take.
  • You want prediction markets next to perps and spot, sharing one USDC balance.
  • You want no per-transaction gas charge on top of the fee.
  • You want to hedge or lever a view rather than only express it.
  • You want self-custody without a seed phrase, via an email code.

A distribution product and a trading product

Myriad is the most interesting answer to a question Hypersight does not ask: how do you get someone to make their first prediction without asking them to visit an exchange? Built by Dastan, the company formed from crypto publisher Decrypt and Rug Radio, it places markets inside articles, apps and games, so the prediction happens where the reader already is. That is a distribution strategy as much as a product, and it works: it reached roughly $100M in cumulative volume and over 400,000 traders, and raised a $20M pre-Series A in early 2026.

Hypersight is built for the other end of the same funnel. It assumes you already want to trade and gives you an order book, depth, charts, and the ability to size a position deliberately. Neither is a better version of the other. If you have never held a prediction position, Myriad's path is genuinely shorter.

What changes once you trade seriously

The differences that matter compound with activity rather than with the first trade. Myriad charges 0% to 2% on buys depending on the market, plus a flat per-transaction charge of about $0.0085 to cover gas. On a $20 position that flat component is negligible; on fifty repricings it is not, and it is charged whether the trade wins or loses.

On Hypersight the fee is 0% until October 31, 2026, and 0.05% afterwards, charged only when you sell, with no per-trade gas at all because orders on Hyperliquid's L1 are signed messages rather than on-chain transactions. Buying is free of the platform fee, and so is holding to resolution. Hyperliquid's exchange fee applies separately, as it does on any venue.

One balance, three markets

The structural difference is what sits beside the prediction. On Hypersight, perps, spot and prediction markets draw on the same USDC. A view can be expressed as an event position, hedged with a perp, or funded from spot, without a second app or a bridge.

Myriad does predictions and does them where the audience is. That focus is the point of the product, not a gap in it. The choice is really between reach and depth: Myriad meets you in the article, Hypersight meets you in the order book.

Frequently asked questions

Is Hypersight cheaper than Myriad?

Usually, and the gap widens with activity. Myriad charges 0–2% on buys depending on the market, plus about $0.0085 per transaction for gas. The Hypersight fee is 0% until October 31, 2026 and 0.05% afterwards, charged only when you sell, with no per-trade gas. Hyperliquid's exchange fee applies separately in both cases.

Can I place limit orders on both?

Yes. Myriad runs central limit order book markets with limit orders and slippage controls alongside its embedded format. Hypersight trades directly on Hyperliquid's on-chain order book, so limit orders, depth and cancels are native to the venue rather than a layer on top.

Which has more markets?

Myriad covers more ground: crypto, sports, politics, economy, gaming and culture, and it publishes across multiple chains. Hypersight surfaces the HIP-4 catalog on Hyperliquid, which is crypto, sports and macro. If breadth of subject matter is what you want, Myriad is the better answer today.

Do I need a wallet for Hypersight?

No. An email one-time code creates a self-custodial wallet with no seed phrase to store, and you can connect an existing wallet instead. Myriad also supports both email and wallet sign-in and does not custody funds.

What are HIP-4 prediction markets?

HIP-4 is Hyperliquid's native prediction-market standard: real-money markets that trade on the chain's on-chain order book, settle in USDC, and resolve on-chain. Hypersight is a frontend for these markets; the venue and settlement are Hyperliquid itself.
